AI rejection option

With more and more submissions being ai or heavily ai influenced I think we should have the right to refuse tracks and give feedback saying we suspect ai use on this track. Or even ai use detected. Submit hub have an AI detector tool .

    We appreciate you feedback, when it comes to accepting or declining tracks is up to the curators discretion, so if you don’t want to accept AI generated tracks, it’s totally okay.

      Thank you for the reply.

      I do understand I can refuse any tracks. But I like to give feedback as to why. It currently isn’t covered. I think those using AI should understand why we are refusing it. Personally I think it damaging the music industry.

      This is our current stance as a record label, radio show and playlist curator.

      AI Policy
      We’ve been flooded with undeclared AI submissions, so our stance is clear: we do not accept fully AI-generated tracks. AI may play a supporting role if declared, but undisclosed AI will be automatically refused.

      I think daily playlist should consider this stance. It doesn’t mean you have to refuse submissions or that people like me will automatically refuse them all. But it does make people think twice about what they are doing and trying to achieve IMO

        maybe an optional declaration on ai use for producers or a suspected ai use refusal option could work

          Hi,

          Thank you for clarifying. When it comes to declining tracks you can provide feedback if you are a Premium curator. Otherwise we recommend you to add on your profile a disclaimer.

          Currently our system is not flagging music generated with AI, but we encourage curators to make their decisions based on the criteria they find most fit for their playlists.

          We will take note on this though as we currently see a lot of conversation around it!
