We understand this action might not like our artists users, but the response rate of Standard Submissions was decreasing while the amount of submissions made increased - curators could not keep up anymore with the amount of submissions they were receiving.
That’s why we had to make a very difficult decision, which was made eventually over 6 months of discussions trying to improve the response rates in general.
We really do hope this change can have a positive impact in our general ecosystem (by improving the response rate and encouraging more thoughtful submissions), and that small artists can still find value in what we offer.
