I CAN'T SUBMIT A NEW SONG AGAIN

This is the same problem that I’ve already reported a few times. I find my new song, click on it which obviously opens up to it on Spotify, copy the link and paste it into the bar on the form on this site and nothing happens, it just refreshes the page and prompts me to start the whole process all over again.

This might be ok by the time that I get a response about it (because it usually is) but I just want to let you know about it again because I’m fed up with it keep happening and nothing’s ever done to fix it. I don’t know why the process can’t be as simple as it used to be when all I had to do was click on the song on this site without having to go and click on the link within Spotify and copy and paste it. That last part seems kind of pointless, and that’s the only part that keeps preventing me from submitting a new song.

And this is after deleting the cache in my browser which never makes any difference.

    Hi Wainscott,

    So sorry to heard you been having issues with the platform for some time now. We recall having this issue and your previous report. Can you also tell us if you have tried with Different Browsers, and maybe pasting the right type of url for the spotify link it’s the URI link.

    Unfortunately it’s a one off case and we were not able to replicate the issue on our end. If you can provide as much evidence as possible, we can see what else we can do.

      Hi,

      Yes I have tried a different browser and three different laptops, one of which runs on a different OS to the other two but it made no difference. However, after trying every couple of hours or so, it suddenly worked even though again I didn’t do anything any differently. I’ve had a number of other regularly reoccurring problems on this site when I’ve had to come back later and keep trying again and then the problem’s not there anymore after me doing nothing differently.

      And actually I’ve seen plenty of other comments on here from other people complaining about the same thing so I don’t think that it’s isolated. It seems to only happen with newly released songs (but not every time), going by my own experiences and from what other people have said.
