New login?
Hi there, a while ago I saw that you wanted to update the login process from i.e. google login to a more individual login. However, lately I tried to login after a while of absence and the only way I could login was with my google account and not with my individual mail address (info@mixedmodemusic.de). I did not notice any account migration or any other info regarding this. Did I miss anything? Best regards Steve

Hi Steve,
Yes, we updated out login system to a email or google login. If you want to log in using the email you provided you can do so by updating the login by clicking the link directly below the login options that says "Are you looking for the Spotify Login? Click Here." Then, follow the steps to update your account. If you've already updated it, please try logging in with the new system.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or encounter further issues while setting up your account. We're here to help!
All the best,

Hello, I did the “looking for your Spotify account”-login and it takes me to my profile and all the data is there. However, after login there is no “steps to follow” for an account migration. Also I tried to reset my password for the registered e-mail but I do not get a mail for the password reset (so it appears there is no account for my mail-address). How can I login with my e-mail ID?

Hi Steve,
Looking at your profile, it seems that you have not set up the new login system on your account. Please follow the steps as if you were creating a new account. Simply link the Spotify account you use for the DailyPlaylists account.

Can you please share your Spotify user link?
To find your Spotify user link, please follow these steps:
1. Go to your Spotify account.
2. Click on your profile picture.
3. Select 'Profile'.
4. Click on the three dots (...) below your picture.
5. Choose 'Copy profile link'.

Hi Steve,
Try logging in with the link and using the email info@mixedmodemusic.de, it shows that it was not migrated, or try to do an account creation process if that doesn’t work.
Let me know,
All the best,

I think I am a very experienced internet user but I really do not understand what you want me to do. With “try logging in with the link” do you mean logging in using my Spotify account? → I did that before. I just see the regular profile screen as always (see attached screenshot) Or do you mean I should try just a regular login using an e-mail address? (I did that before several times for my ‘info@mixedmodemusic.de’ but I have no password and a password reset does not send a password reset link - I also checked the spam folder). So I am not sure what you want me to try. By “try an account creation process” you mean I should create a brand new account with my e-mail? → As stated before I tried this already and it said the email is already taken (so I cannot create an account). When logging in with my Spotify account it shows my email address below my user name. So I am not sure what you want me to try…

Hi Steve,
Sorry for the confusion. What I mean is:
To try to use the “looking for your Spotify account” link. But as I noticed that is redirecting you directly without the pop-up. I’m escalating the case to the dev team
I’ll keep you posted.
All the best,

some update here: when I checked the “Premium Curator Application” form it says that my google account “stevekayofficial@gmail.com" will be stored with the form. This is my google mail which I do not use much. Not sure where it gets the info to this mail address from, because in my DP profile I have info@mixedmodemusic.de - maybe this causes the confusion?

As it is a Google Form, it will use the Gmail account on your device. That is a Google functionality, not ours.
