I find it’s bit crazy, if a playlist do nothing for me but automaticly is something liked in my account or so, this roules not good….

to roules should be, i give something and the other or zéro my friends…. that’s so cheap marketing bullshit ;)

    Hello EBC, thanks for reaching out.

    You are referring to the playlist gates, which are the terms and conditions a playlist curator can optionally set up to review song submissions for free.

    The gates are executed when a curator reviews your submission - meaning that this is executed once the curator has heard your song and decided if the song is a fit or not for the playlist (accept or decline the submission).

    If gates were only executed when a curator accepts a song, then it would completely distort the submission dynamic - as some curators may start accepting only for the gates and that wouldn’t be transparent.

    And just as a heads up, we notify about the gates twice : at the moment of logging in to DP, and at the moment before the submission is sent (you get a list of all gates set for the playlists you selected).
