Warning from Spotify for illegal streaming

Spotify warned me several times today that the songs I have promoted here on Daily Playlist are being artificially streamed using bots. Spotify has already deleted hundreds of my streams. I want to make it clear that I'm not concerned with the number of streams; I just want my music to be heard and not streamed illegally! They want to block my songs. Since I only work here with you on Daily Playlist, I'm asking the question: is that true? Do some playlisters here use bots? Why else would Spotify warn me?

I just got my first notice as well.

From Spotify's site: Spotify strictly prohibits using any third party service that promises streams or playlist placement in exchange for money. These services violate Spotify’s Terms and Conditions of Use and User Guidelines.

I had to stop using this platform because this same thing is currently happening to me now. Both Spotify and my distributor have advised me to not use these platforms like dailyplaylist, submithub etc. I am still trying to get my music removed off of playlists that my song was accepted on here. Now I'm not saying that dailyplaylist is shady but how can they truly know how a curator is generating streams for their playlist?

Based on my experience, my Spotify artist page has been negatively impacted. I get daily notifications of fraudulent streams and I know for a fact that Im not doing anything but submitting my songs to playlists here. My monthly listeners have plummeted. I'm sure the algorithm is not working for me and I don't even get a lot of streams to begin with. I hope this helps anyone who sees this. Do not use this service or any other service to submit to playlists…it's just not safe and can cause a lot of damage.

    Hey Melodic Avenues,

Thanks for reaching out and flagging this.

Please can you send us the song you are promoting and any link to the playlists you think might have triggered this alert?

We do weekly revisions to remove any suspicious activity from our platform - if you think there is a sketchy player around, we will appreciate it if you can send their information so we can proceed and remove from the platform.

    Keep us posted.

    All the best,

    DP Team
