Was on a playlist but got removed.

Hi, I’m fairly new to all of this…

I started to release my tracks onto all platforms and this site has been great.

Whilst I’ve had a few acceptances onto playlists, I was on one that was giving me decent exposure, but have noticed that the track was removed from the playlist.

I did submit the same track to another playlist, from the same curator, and the song has went onto this (a few days ago).

Is it normal practice for a curator to decide randomly that a track doesn’t fit the playlist and then remove it?

    How long has your song been on the playlist?

    It actually depends on the curator - some update their playlist very often while others leave songs for a while before removing them, but it depends on their curation approach.

      Hi, It got added on the 13th March and was removed on the 25th March.

      Just wanted to know if this was the “norm”

        There is no “norm” , it depends on the curation style of each curator - it’s their decision if a song stays in a playlist or not.
