Never have I tried a service that had the most “whacked” website ever.
Show my song does not allow it be submitted. Only after two days of trying
Signed me up for playlist I didn’t select
One showed approved. Checked it out. Gone by the time I fiddled though to get back to approve section
Hugh learning curve to find your way around
Before you say “end user” problem.
Don’t think so. Retired Google and Microsoft database developer 28+ years.
Will use up credit then done with this service.
So confusing I couldn’t tell you what page I was on, who I approved me and who didn’t.

Hi Emeryville Records,
Thank you for taking the time to share this,
What you described points to real friction in our platform, and we take that seriously.
A few things that may explain what you ran into:
• Song submission delays: can you specify a bit what you mean by this? Were there issues when submitting, or was it the time a curator answered to the submission?
• Playlist sign-ups: This is part of the gate system.
When you submit your track, some curators may set up a gate. A gate is simply a small action required before your submission is completed. Common examples include:
Following the curator or their playlist
Saving the track on Spotify
Other simple engagement actions
These gates help curators grow their playlists and ensure that artists engaging with them are genuine listeners.
A few important points to keep in mind:
Not all playlists have gates: it depends on the curator’s choice.
Gates are optional for artists: you decide whether you want to complete the action and submit.
They don’t affect your credits: you still control how and where you submit.
• Approved submission disappearing: Curators do have the ability to change their decisions after initial approval, which can make it look like an approval vanished. We recognise this isn't communicated clearly enough.
• Navigation difficulty: Where did you see the issue? After a submission, or was it something else?
We are open to improvement, and this feedback helps us to do so.
All the best,
DP Team

Huge disappointment to see gates and especially email to accepted tracks disappear. I doubt I will renew and find other service. Unfortunate after being such a long time member and $$ I regularly spent here.

Hi New Artist Playlists,
Currently, gates remain on the platform over the Standard Submission mechanics. Let me know if you are unable to see the functionality or if you are encountering any issues.
All the best,

Why was my track added to the playlist to which I did not send an application, and at the same time I received a notification by email that my application was approved for this playlist

Hi Hulumulu,
Can you resend the email to us on info@dailyplaylists.com? Please also add:
- Spotify user link
- Track that was submitted
- Playlist link
This information will help us to assess what is going on.
All the best,

Many submissions stay pending for a long long time. This issue is a total enthusiasm killer

Hello Lucid Rafa, thanks for the feedback.
This is in the Standard tier right? Curators have 21 days to respond to Standard Submissions before they expire.
Let us know if you have any questions!
All the best,
